The earthwork in the background is the result of Tony Barnett of Barrsystems laying 1,600 metres of piping for watering tees and greens in the event of drought!
Making connections to previously installed water and power systems has proved difficult due to a lack of necessary records.
That shouldn't be a problem for those that follow us in the years to come.
Our picture shows Bob Whiteford who provides a satellite mapping service for golf courses. We will be provided with a precise record of everything we do both above and below ground. Although Bob lives in Blairgowrie, he does not really need satellite tracking. He was brought up on the farm next door!
