Drains and Fencing

Fortunately the weather hasn't stopped Bob Stewart finding time to remove the barbed wire fence that previously stopped livestock getting into the "Dovecot Wood" near the second and third greens. The old wall looks a lot better already.
Our photo shows Bob's brother David and his team laying new pipes for collecting water coming off the 3rd fairway that would flood the 4th and 8th greens. Following the discovery of an old broken field drain similar work has been carried out on the left of the 5th fairway to protect the 8th tee.
