New life for older trees

The removal of ‘marked’ fir trees planted approximately 25 years ago, has not only let us get on with preparing the 4th green, but has also done wonders for some lovely older deciduous specimens that were crying out for some light and the chance to dry out and breath again. The wood is looking better already.
Despite Ian’s considerable skill at manoeuvring in between the timbers, our health and safety rules for ‘hard hat’ came into being on the last day in November, as we are not in a position that we can afford John to lose a fight with a tree!
