Planning Application

John Quinn of Greenmaster, using Peter’s initial design, then took on the task of ensuring that Golf & Thistle together with the NTS prepared all the necessary papers to be granted change of use.
The field had been subject to a full agricultural lease since the beginning of the second world war.
On December the 7th 2004 the Fife Council gave their unanimous support for the field to be rebuilt as a golf course. Staff at the Council made a point of informing Golf & Thistle that not a single member of the general public objected to our proposals for the return of hickory golf to Hill of Tarvit.
